February 26, 2013- OrientSKYs, a fast-growing private jet charter network with head offices located in Bangkok, Thailand, announces that it has entered into a Strategic Business Partnership with St. Petersburg, Florida based Global Jet Sales. Through this alliance, OrientSKYs will be able to immediately offer Asian buyers and sellers access to Global Jet Sales suite of services: a well-rounded exclusive inventory, appraisal services, proprietary research and marketing and a specialized and experienced staff to facilitate Asian private jet sales and acquisitions. OrientSKYs will also become one of the few Asian private jet brokers able to accept trade-ins on used business aircraft.
We have always known that private jet charter is often the first step towards ownership and over the years we have helped quite a few customers purchase business aircraft. The team at Global Jet Sales has their finger on the pulse of literally every used business jet out there and I am really excited that OrientSKYs will be able to offer our clients in Asia and elsewhere a comprehensive turn-key solution to the often intimidating task of acquiring or selling a private jet” said Trevor Merszei, Chief Operating Officer for OrientSKYs.
Being able to grow and expand Global Jet Sales in order to service Asia has been a high priority. That’s why when we had a chance to form a partnership with OrientSKYs we were delighted to do so. They are firmly embedded within the Asian aviation and business communities and have experienced much success within the charter segment of the industry. The opportunity to offer our services with Trevor and his team is one we are looking forward to” Alexander Janas, Executive Sales Director at Global Jet Sales stated.
For over 45 years the founder of Global Jet Sales has ensured that the firm maintains the most up-to-date communication techniques and marketing strategies. In addition to the experience of facilitating over USD 7 Billion in aircraft transactions, three major elements contribute to the company’s success and give it a competitive advantage over other brokers: a proprietary in-house database, a specialized staff of jet sales professionals and being one of the few brokerage firms which have the ability to facilitate trade-ins.
OrientSKYs provides a full-service private aircraft charter network with one of the most diverse and well positioned fleets in Asia. Founded in 2004 as XJET Limited, the company was rebranded OrientSKYs in 2007 to better reflect its focus on Asian client expectations. Based in Bangkok, with client services offices located throughout the region, as well as the United States, OrientSKYs retains a very experienced team of jet charter professionals, and provides its customers with unmatched concierge-level attention to detail on a 24-hour basis.
